2024 Pro Hart Outback Art Prize
The Pro Hart Outback Art Prize is Broken Hill City Art Gallery’s (BHCAG) annual acquisitive art award, showcasing work across various media that captures the spirit and diversity of the Australian Outback. This prestigious prize attracts a wide range of entries from across Australia, including photography, painting, sculpture, video, and more.
This year, we are pleased to welcome Bruce Tindale as the guest judge for the Pro Hart Outback Art Prize. Bruce, a former manager of BHCAG (2007-2011), has extensive experience in the arts, particularly within regional Australia. His career spans roles in graphic design, community arts, and various managerial positions at galleries across New South Wales. He is delighted to return to judge the 2024 Outback Art Prize, bringing his deep knowledge and passion for the development of artists in rural and regional areas.
The Prize is generously supported by Mrs Raylee J Hart and the Hart family, in honour of the late Pro Hart.
